Silvia Abascal Estrada (Madrid, 20 de marzo de 1979) es una actrizespañola.

Comenzó a estudiar interpretación a los dieciocho años con Juan Carlos Corazza compaginándolo con estudios de baile español y ballet clásico así como con numerosos cursos relacionados con la interpretación. Su primera oportunidad llega en 1993 de la mano de Chicho Ibáñez Serrador en el popular Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez, donde interpretó el personaje de la niña poseída Mari Luz Bachs, sobrina en la ficción del presentador del programa, Josep Maria Bachs.

El espaldarazo a su carrera como actriz, y máxima popularidad, le llegó con el personaje de Clara en Pepa y Pepe en 1994. Luego participó en El tiempo de la felicidad y después en la serie Don Juan, con el papel de Doña Inés, y Hostal Royal Manzanares al lado de Lina Morgan. Fue la hija de Tito Valverde en la serie El comisario de Telecinco al igual que lo fuera también en Pepa y Pepe. También repetiría como hermana de María Adánez en unos pocos episodios de Aquí no hay quien viva.

Colabora en numerosos proyectos de ONG (como Unicef, donde fue embajadora de Unicef-Comité  Su hermana es la también actriz Natalia Abascal.

El 2 de abril de 2011 Silvia Abascal sufrió un infarto cerebral en la fiesta de clausura del Festival de Málaga, del que tuvo que ser intervenida de urgencia, para recuperarse favorablemente después. Reapareció públicamente la noche del 19 de febrero de 2012 en la entrega de la XXVI edición de los Premios Goya.

En su libro Todo un viaje, publicado en junio de 2013, la actriz narra en primera persona sus vivencias a consecuencia del infarto cerebral y las vicisitudes de su recuperación

Cruz has modeled for companies such as Mango, Ralph Lauren and L'Oréal. Penélope and her younger sister Mónica Cruz have designed items for Mango. She has donated both her time and money to charities. Cruz has volunteered in Uganda and India, where she spent one week working for Mother Teresa; she donated her salary from The Hi-Lo Country to help fund the late nun's mission. A wax sculpture of Cruz will be placed in a premier spot in the Grevin Wax Museum in Paris

Anjelica Huston - American actress

Anjelica Huston  (born July 8, 1951) is an American actress. Huston became the third generation of her family to win an Academy Award, when she won Best Supporting Actress for her performance in 1985's Prizzi's Honor, joining her father, director John Huston, and grandfather, actor Walter Huston. She also received Academy Award nominations for Enemies, a Love Story (1989) and The Grifters (1990).

Huston received British Academy Award nominations for her work in the Woody Allen films Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) and Manhattan Murder Mystery(1993). Among her other roles, she starred as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993), receiving Golden Globe nominations for both, and played the Grand High Witch in the children's movie The Witches (1990). She has frequently collaborated with director Wes Anderson, including The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004). She is also the author of the book A Story Lately Told.
